  1. Navigate to Labels in your dashboard
  2. Click Create New Label
  3. Fill in the shipping details
  4. Select your carrier and service
  5. Purchase and print your label

Detailed Process

Step 1: Access Label Creation

From your SimpliSent dashboard: 
Dashboard → Labels → Create New Label
Or use the quick action button on your main dashboard.

Step 2: Enter Shipment Details

From Address

Your default shipping address is automatically populated from your account settings:
  • Sender Name: Your business or personal name
  • Address: Complete street address with unit/suite if applicable
  • City, State, ZIP: Automatically validated
  • Phone: Contact number for delivery issues
You can save multiple “From” addresses in your account settings for different warehouses or drop-ship locations.

To Address

Enter the recipient’s complete shipping information:
  • Recipient Name: Full name as it should appear on the label
  • Company (optional): Business name if shipping to a company
  • Address Line 1: Street number and name
  • Address Line 2 (optional): Apartment, suite, or unit number
  • City, State, ZIP: Destination details
  • Phone (optional but recommended): For delivery notifications
Always verify the shipping address for accuracy. Incorrect addresses can result in delivery delays and additional fees.

Step 3: Package Information

Package Type

Select the type of package you’re shipping:
  • Package/Box: Standard packages and boxes
  • **Predefined Carrier Parcel: **Carrier provided packaging

Package Dimensions

Enter accurate measurements for rate calculation:
  • Length: Longest side of the package
  • Width: Second longest side
  • Height: Shortest side
  • Weight: Total weight including packaging
Use your saved box sizes for common packages to speed up the process. You can manage box sizes in Settings.

Package Value (Optional)

Declare the value of your shipment for:
  • Insurance coverage calculation
  • Customs declarations (international shipping)
  • Internal tracking and records

Step 4: Select Carrier and Service

SimpliSent shows real-time rates at up to 87% off retail rates from multiple carriers:

Insurance

Protect your shipment with shipping insurance:
  • Carrier Insurance: Included coverage up to $100
  • Additional Coverage: Purchase extra insurance at 1% of your shipment’s value

Delivery Confirmation

Choose your confirmation level:
  • Standard Tracking: Basic delivery confirmation
  • Signature Required: Requires recipient signature
  • Adult Signature: Requires adult (21+) signature

Special Services

Additional options may include:
  • Saturday Delivery: For urgent weekend deliveries
  • Hold for Pickup: Recipient picks up at carrier facility
  • Delivery Instructions: Special handling requirements

Step 6: Review and Purchase

Double-check all information before purchasing:
  • Shipping addresses (From and To)
  • Package dimensions and weight
  • Selected service and features
  • Total cost breakdown

Payment Processing

Labels are purchased using your pre-funded wallet balance

Step 7: Print and Ship

Download Label

After purchase, you can:
  • Download PDF: High-quality printable label
  • Print Directly: Use browser print function

Package Preparation

  1. Securely attach the shipping label to the package
  2. Remove or cover any old shipping labels
  3. Ensure the package is properly sealed
  4. Hand over to carrier or schedule pickup
