What is a Shipping Representative?

A shipping representative is the person or entity responsible for the shipment. This information is required for customs documentation and may be required by certain carriers for compliance purposes.

Setting Up Your Shipping Representative

  1. Navigate to Settings in your SimpliSent dashboard
  2. Select “Account Settings” from the menu
  3. Click on “Shipping Representative”
  4. Fill in the required information:
    • Full legal name
    • Contact information
    • Address details
    • Identification numbers (if applicable)

Required Information

Personal Details

  • Full legal name
  • Phone number
  • Email address

Address Information

  • Street address
  • City, State/Province, ZIP/Postal Code
  • Country

Business Information (if applicable)

  • Business name
  • Tax ID or EIN
  • Business registration number

Updating Your Information

You can update your shipping representative details at any time:
  1. Go to Settings > Account Settings > Shipping Representative
