Dashboard

After setup, the rates dashboard shows:
  • How many rates are synced and when they were last updated
  • Options to re-enter setup, regenerate, view the rates map, or sync/remove rates

When to Regenerate

Regenerate your rates when:
  • You’ve added or changed parcel sizes
  • You’ve added new products that need category assignments
  • You’ve changed your origin address (affects zone calculations)
  • You’ve modified category limits (max items per parcel)
  • USPS pricing has changed (rates auto-refresh weekly, but you can trigger it manually)
Click Enter Setup to walk through the wizard again, or trigger a recalculation from the dashboard.

Unmapped Products

If new products have been imported from Shopify but aren’t assigned to a shipping category, you’ll see a warning. These products won’t have accurate rates at checkout. To fix this:
  1. Click Enter Setup
  2. Go to Step 2: Categorize Products
  3. Drag unmapped products into the correct parcel category
  4. Complete the wizard and regenerate rates

Rates Map

The rates map is a visual heatmap showing calculated rates across parcel sizes and USPS zones. Use it to:
  • Review average, minimum, and maximum rates for each parcel-zone combination
  • Filter by weight range
  • Spot unexpectedly high or low rates
Access it from the dropdown menu on the dashboard.

Automatic Refresh

SimpliSent recalculates rates every Sunday at 2:00 AM to stay aligned with USPS pricing. After a refresh, you’ll see a banner if new rates are available to sync. For fallback rates, price caps, and other configuration, see Advanced Shipping Options.
